I am from a Hispanic country, I've been in contact with teaching kids since I was 12 years old in church, then in 2012, I started working as an English and French teacher for elementary and high school for three years. After that, I changed school and they wanted me to work in elementary school permanently; it was a different experience because I had to teach all subjects in English for first grade mainly. In that time I realized how important it is to help kids enjoy what they learn since then, I've been learning to create my material, like worksheets, blogs for parents and kids, flashcards, games, and posters. Last year I started working in an English book project to teach kids English playing. I am so interested in continuous learning about all this process, and I would like to share what I learn because ideas and creativity are for everyone.
I think the best way to help kids in learning is through habits, games, and experiences. So I try to make easier this process by some daily habits in the classroom and at home; that is why I usually send parents strategies, videos, and helpful material.
I worked on ELA curriculum for three years setting topics, student profile, strategies, material and step by step for the teacher, I had the opportunity to couch new colleagues and to direct the area in school.
