Tamara (tuh-mar-uh) Slade is a social justice educator and author from California. She obtained her Masters in Education from UCLA, where she wrote a masters inquiry on humanizing STEAM and social justice education that was shared around the country. In the last seven years, Tamara has taught students of color at the elementary school level and has also coached teachers, created social justice curriculum, and facilitated professional development related to ethnic studies, CGI math, and more. She is also the co-author of the forthcoming book "Anti-Racist Art Activities for Kids," which has already achieved a #1 new release bestseller in children's art books on Amazon and is available for preorder.
