I have been teaching instrumental music to 4th through 12th grade students for over forty years. In addition to band and orchestra instruction I also taught music theory and served as music director and conductor for numerous musical theater productions. Through my years of teaching I assimilated methods and techniques to help students learn the “mechanics” of playing an instrument as well as elements of music theory and performance.
