TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I student taught 6th grade mathematics and I taught 3rd grade my first year of teaching. I have also taught 1st grade for 12 years now and I have loved every minute of it. Teaching the little ones is my true passion!

I strive to give my students the best education that they can get while they are in my class. I teach with engaging, hands-on lessons that spark my students interests. I try to provide my students with visuals, songs, poems, etc to meet the needs of all my students and their learning styles.

I graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign in 2008. I recently got my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University of Chicago. I have taught for 12 years! I spent 3 years working in Lake Villa and now I have been teaching for 9 years!
