I have successfully completed 9 years of classroom teaching experience. This upcoming school year I accepted the role of Instructional Coach; where I mentor teachers, provide feedback and support, and facilitate professional development.
I am a person with enthusiasm, creativity, and passion who believes that all children can learn and thrive in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting, and appropriate to their unique talents and abilities. I strongly desire to equip families with the essential learning resource tools needed for their children to succeed in education.
This past year, I have successful conducted 5 reading and math seminars for parents to help support them as they try to teach their child at home.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master Degree in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment through National Louis University. I will finish that degree this March of 2016.
I have created many resources for teachers and parents to help students succeed in reading, math, and writing.
