TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fourth year teaching a primary grade. I've also worked 2 years as an intermediate teacher. I enjoy working with kids, getting to know them personally, and having an impact on their lives.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy routine but appreciate the fact that no day is ever predictable or the same. I want my students to be critical thinkers who can think for themselves. I also want them to understand how to treat others, especially those they do not see eye to eye with. Having character and integrity will get them as far in life, if not farther, than intelligence. I set the bar high and expect all to reach it. I strive to teach students to take responsibility for their own actions.
