TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Junior High students for the past 15 years and absolutely love it! I teach 7th grade Social Studies about the history and culture of the the world.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2006 with a bachelors degree in History and Social Studies. I started subbing right after graduation and was hired at Bedford High School in 2009. I taught high school American and World History, Economics and Current Events. In 2011, I transferred to the Junior High School and started teaching 7th grade Social studies and 8th Grade American History. I also pursued my master's degree from Concordia University and graduated with a Master Degree of Curriculum and Instruction.

I am happily married with three children! We enjoyed spending family time together and going to the lake!
