TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm excited to share with you the research that I have conducted to create substitute plans that can help support teachers when they cannot be in the classroom. Knowing of the time-consuming task of preparing substitute plans, I am confident that my material will be immensely helpful. In regards to my experience, I have spent 2 years supporting college students through a college algebra course as well as taught a semester of secondary math II, an integrated math course, in Utah. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Physical and Mathematical Sciences with an emphasis in Mathematics Education. I am excited to be of assistance to the teaching community through my work.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In regards to my teaching style, I mainly use an exploration-based approach. However, I understand that many substitute teachers will find this challenging to implement if they do not have a strong background in Math. Thus, my substitute plans will focus on instruction that is more traditional.
