I have been working in early childhood education and care for almost 15 years. I have been teaching at early childhood centres, Montessori preschool, stand alone kindergarten, language immersion programs and long day care. I have been working with early childhood pre-service teachers as a trainer/assessor and university teacher for more than 9 years. I enjoy everything about early learning and early childhood pedagogies - theories, teaching practices, storytelling, using puppets in the classroom, process art, ukulele and piano music and so much more.

As an early childhood teacher and teacher's educator, I love to share my passion for early learning through stories; puppet shows, action songs, circle games, children's songs, and thoughts about helping young children to learn. With a strong focus on storytelling, teaching with puppets, music and play, I will demonstrate the ways to create an engaging program for children, with a particular emphasis on circle time (group time, meeting time or yarning circle). I am committed to supporting the community for early childhood pre-service educators (Certificate 3 in ECEC, diploma in ECEC and a Bachelor of ECEC and working professionals.
