Speech Language Pathologist for 20 years and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for 10 years. I have worked in private practice and schools with children (3 years old) to young adults (22 years old). My specialty areas are autism, stuttering, and articulation. I currently teach at a university educating the next generation of speech language pathologists.
I believe strongly in connecting classroom learning to real-world situations and do so through hand-on lessons that let kids see how everyday objects are related to math, science, and communication. I also help my students become independent by teaching them strategies to be successful in and out of the speech room. I also find value in having students learn from each other by building a strong community in my speech room.
