I have been teaching for thirteen years in a variety of school settings: cyber, private, and public. I currently teach middle school Spanish in a public school near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition to Spanish, French, and Italian, I also have experience with teaching English Language Arts.
I model lifelong learning for my students by participating in the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. This educational community keeps me up-to-date on scaffolding my students' learning, using technology as a tool, and maintaining a full immersion setting whenever possible.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hill University Honors Program
I earned my undergraduate and master's degree at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
I love traveling. I have been to Spain and Mexico twice and hope to visit all of the other Spanish-speaking countries in my lifetime. For fun, I enjoy listening to music in Spanish (especially Juanes and Shakira), reading, and doing Zumba.
