TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was very fortunate to teach 6th Grade World Geography for 13 years, then took a misadventure into Administration. After two years as Assistant Principal during the 2019-2021 school years, I decided to return to the classroom and follow my true vocation. During my time as Assistant Principal, I taught two remote 8th Grade Civics classes. For the past three years I have been teaching Grade 7 Ancient History. There are plenty of resources and tools to share....it has just taken a little while uploading them to TpT. I would encourage you to follow me as more products will be released in the future!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style has definitely evolved over the past 18 years! I love teaching in a student driven classroom and providing my students with unique and authentic projects, assignments and activities. I chose the name "Sprinting to Social Studies" because I try too plan lessons and activities that have students sprinting to my class.
