Sprinkles and Sparkles

Passion for Special Education, Organization, Fun, and Sparkle! I have taught grades K - 5. I have taught special education and general education in positions of resource room, self-contained, and Integrated Co-Teaching. I recently taught in a K-2 self-contained class in the southtowns of Buffalo, NY. Within the same building, I now teach in a grade 4 integrated co-teaching classroom. I also teach summer school, making sure kids have fun in those bonus months of learning!

Small Group Instruction - Visuals - Music - Hands-On Learning - Movement Breaks - Home to School Connections Communicating with families is SO important! I am a Kidding Around Yoga Teacher and I love incorporating mindfulness and yoga into the classroom. Balancing the hybrid - virtual learning model in my class is important. We Google Meet as much as we can, with the abilities of 3 adults in the classroom. Teaching is such a team effort. I, with my team of therapists, try to collaborate when it comes to our students. We want to want sure we are doing the best well-rounded job possible!
