I have been operating my own private speech therapy practice (www.UtahSpeechTherapy.com™) since 2010, where I employ 3+ therapists and together we treat a large variety of clients. I have also been creating and selling Speech Chick™ products on my own website/blog (www.SpeechChick.com™) since 2013. On the blog I offer free advice as well as tips and tricks in order to support speech therapy clients, parents, teachers, and other speech therapists. I am the creator of multiple speech therapy apps and programs including: The Tongue Thrust Therapy App (located on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store), The Bust the Thrust Program (located at www.BustTheThrust.com), and the Apraximations App (located on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store). I have conducted presentations and trainings on topics associated with Tongue Thrust Therapy, Apraxia of Speech, and Starting Your Own Private Practice in both school district and state association settings. I have personally served hundreds of individuals with a variety of communication impairments; including speech sound disorders (articulation therapy), language disorders (both receptive and expressive), stuttering (fluency disorders), childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), tongue thrust (orofacial myofunctional disorder), hearing loss (aural rehabilitation/habilitation), traumatic brain injury, processing disorders, cognitive impairments, cleft lip/palate, down syndrome, autism, and aspergers disorder with clients ranging from ages 0-50.

I believe that quality human connection is the most essential part of the human experience and that it is through communication that we are able to make those connections. I have a passion for offering services and products that help others communicate more effectively and I find true joy in each customer's and client's progress and success.

I have 5 children (ages 13, 10, 8, 5, 1) and considered myself a "boy mom" for 12 years until my sweet daughter joined our family in 2022. Besides being a wife and mother - starting my own private practice and creating speech therapy products has been the most rewarding part of my life.
