I have over 20 years of teaching and consulting in a variety of special education classes (Autism, Learning Disability, Mild Intellectual Disability, Emotional and Behavioural Disorders). I currently work in the role of ABA Consultant where I conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments, provide direct and consultative support and job-embedded training to support school and system-level personnel that support students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
My teaching style is rooted in Applied Behaviour Analysis where student-centered planning, data collection and the use of evidence-based instructional practices are foundational.
