TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I graduated in 2021 after completing my teaching internship during the 2020-2021 school year. I have a bachelors in Social Studies Education and have been teaching World Geography (9th grade) and US History (11th grade) throughout my career. I am currently still teaching full time. Over the past few years, I have attended conferences and training for AVID. I also currently participate in a 9th grade cohort program that includes core class collaboration amongst 9th grade teachers.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended two different high schools, one in Singapore and one in the Bay Area in California. I moved to Utah for college and majored in Social Studies Education; this major included economics, political science, history, geography, psychology, and sociology courses in addition to pedagogy courses. During my college time, I also spent a couple years living in Argentina, and thanks to this experience, I am fluent in Spanish.
