TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 10 years of classroom teaching experience, 8 years of freelance curriculum development experience and am now a homeschool mom! I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th grade. As a Literacy Specialist, I'm highly trained in developing rigorous instructional tools for your classroom. I specialize in elementary literacy and gifted and talented education.

The goal in my classroom is to meet a student where he/she is at and create opportunities for student-centered learning through exploration, technology and investigation. I love seeing students challenged and pushed beyond what they thought they were capable of.
