TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was an Elementary School Science Coordinator working with teams of teachers from Pre-kindergarten to Grade 5. We developed a learner centered, discovery-based science program that made learning science dynamic and rewarding. I curated a lot of content and perspectives that shaped my understanding of teaching and learning. I am here to share some of that with you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I develop partnerships with students helping them to retain ownership of their learning journey. I believe you get good at the things you spend the most your time doing. I teach in a way that students are spending most of their time making connections, coming up with ideas, creating their understanding and taking charge of their learning. I ask questions and challenge ideas.
