TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 8th grade math & science (including pre-AP) in a jr. high &; a middle school for 11 years. I have taught 7th grade math in a middle school for 9 years. I've used a variety of cooperative learning strategies for daily lessons, activities and projects. I've taught regular, inclusion, accelerated, & intervention.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like for the kids to experience learning through inquiry to ensure that they discover what they are learning. I like to encourage them to struggle to figure things out rather than just rescue them and give them the answer.
