TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in public schools for 7 years and wore many hats! I've taught special areas, general education, and been an academic coach. I have developed standards based assessments, lesson plans, and interventions. I have been the grade level chair, environmental science contact and the science fair director for many years. I have training in Kagan Strategies and Thinking Maps. All of my products include standards based learning, cooperative learning strategies, and higher order thinking. I'm now a stay-at-home mom homeschooling my children and teaching online. I am applying my knowledge and training in the school system to new products! I love to teach and have been teaching in some form my whole life!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a hands-on person! Give me the lab activities, crafts, and manipulatives! Everything is done as a team or with a partner. I need simple and clear cut assessments! Let's have fun learning!
