I have been privileged to teach for 32 years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Many of my years were spent teaching science, math and English courses. In addition to course work, I served on the Content Advisory Committee for the Michigan Science MEAP for over ten years, successfully coached Science Challenge teams at the local and regional levels, and designed and taught elementary and middle school exploratory classes.

I believe children learn best by experiencing what they are learning. My classroom is a natural blend of hands-on activities, Stem Activities and traditional course work.

Apart from teaching, I am an avid bird and butterfly gardener, Star Wars fan, and am addicted to Mountain Dew Slushies.... :-)
