TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a secondary English/Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I have successfully taught in both the traditional and online classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach in many different ways. It all depends on the students, the situation, and the forum. I believe teachers must continually adjust their curriculum to fit the individual needs of each student.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

One of my greatest personal accomplishments was helping a school bring the percentage of students reading at or above grade level from 66% to over 80% in one year using a specialized curriculum I designed and implemented.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy traveling around the United States with my husband and gleaning new teaching ideas from our experiences!
