By Scribbles from the Purple Pen I have worked as a Grade 5/6 French Immersion teacher and am now teaching 7/8! I originally wanted to be a high school teacher, but have found a love and passion or both of these age groups. Before I started teaching in Canada, I taught at a high school in France, just North of Paris. What an experience that was!

I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Literature. This degree was completed in French, Italian and Spanish. I then went on to complete my Bachelor of Education with a focus in French as a Second Language.
I am a typical type-A person who loves all things organization and planning. If I wasn't a teacher, I would likely be an event planner and planned many, many events from baby showers to weddings! I also own a photography business (@eaststudios.co) and have enjoyed building that business as well. In my spare time (when I have some), I enjoy reading on the couch with a hot cup of tea, playing with my dog, and spending time with friends. Creating for TPT has been such a fun creative outlet for me and I love getting to help other teachers in their classrooms around the world!
