12 Years as a Full time Drama Teacher and Director, developing and implementing original classes in Acting, Shakespeare, Improvisation, IB theater, and Acting Ensemble. 2 Years as a Teaching artist at a Tony-Award Winning Theater Created and Developed districts IB Theater Program. Directs one play and one musical each year.
My philosophy is that our primary goal as teachers is to prepare students to make a positive contribution to society, and for that reason, we create student-centered lessons that allow allow every student to operate as crucial members within an ensemble. We perform knowing perfection in impossible, but we push as hard as we can to get there anyway.
