TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English Language Arts for 3 years. I now teach 10th Grade English and AP Research. I have also worked on my county's curriculum writing committee for 2 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I focus on using a variety of collaborative and interactive strategies. I utilize many Kagan strategies to foster a collaborative learning environment. My lessons are designed to fit the Marzano evaluation scale and address the Florida Language Arts standards.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I graduated in the top 10% of both the USF 2016 undergraduate class and the UF 2018 graduate class.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in English Education in 2016 from the University of South Florida. In December 2018, I graduated with my Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership and School Improvement with a specialization in Instructional Technology. My graduate GPA is a 4.0, and I am currently applying for Educational Doctorate programs in Curriculum and Instruction.
