Sarah McCubbin

As a teacher in non traditional education settings for over 20 years, I have taught students with many different learning styles. From working as a non-profits educator, to being a homeschool parent and online tutor, my students have ranged in age from elementary to high school.

I prefer to teach in a way that includes all the learning styles so there is something for every student. As a homeschool parent, I prefer an eclectic style which follows each students strengths.

My K-12 education included a combination of homeschooling, public and private schools as well as early college. After high school, I obtained an English degree from Cedarville University which included some time studying at Oxford University in England.

My husband and I have 9 children ranging in age from 5 to 21. We were foster parents for many years which gave us the blessing of adopting 3 of our children. We have chosen to use a variety of schools for our kids. We have homeschooled for 16 years but have also used public school, private school, early college and trade schools for our kids. I love the variety and richness that different forms of education can bring to children and families.
