Sarah Major, CEO and founder of Child1st Publications, has taught students from preschool to adult. She was a Title 1 director and program developer for grades K-7, an ESOL teacher, and a classroom teacher, and homeschooled preschool and kindergarten.
My teaching style is one that is very responsive to each child - reading them to determine if what I am doing is in sync with how the child learns.
Sarah was the recipient of the awards for major academic program improvement and outstanding parent satisfaction while in Title 1.
As an undergraduate student, Sarah attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. where she received a B.A. in art. Later, she received her M.Ed. from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI.
Sarah is passionate about identifying common learning gaps for children and discovering ways in which they seem to learn most naturally. All her designs utilize multisensory elements such as image, story, pattern, and body movement.
