I have a B.A. in Judaic Studies from Yale University and a M.S. in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University. I've been teaching for 17 years. For the last 6 years, I've taught English and ESL in Israel to honors classes. For the last 4 years, I've been teaching at a junior high and high school that has received numerous national awards for its achievements.
I am charismatic and energetic. I try to keep the lessons student-centered and work to cater to all levels. I strive to teach literature that will generate important discussions and to teach my students meaningful skills (like expository writing) that will serve them well no matter what field they go into in the future.

I benefited from some Montessori schooling in elementary school and from Harkness tables in high school. I try to bring the excitement of discovery from Montessori and the intense, meaningful discussions from Harkness into my classes every day.
