TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fifth year as a full time middle school teacher. I have been blessed to teach Social Studies and my own elective, Teens in WWII. Today I teach at an MYP IB World School in Literature and Language. I am also a teacher consultant for the Center of Geography Education in Oregon and certified in ESOL/ELD education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a pretty casual teacher with high expectations. My classroom is full of art ingrained with content. I teach with the MYP expectations in mind. I incorporate a lot of geography into my units.
