Elizebeth has a myriad of experiences ranging from teaching with the Department of Defense Education Activity in Alabama and Germany to being a teacher and administrator in public schools. She has taught elementary grades along with 6th grade English/Language Arts. Elizebeth loves being an educator and looks forward to passing on 25+ years of knowledge.
Elizebeth's teaching style includes a hands-on, engaging curriculum using technology in appropriate times while meeting grade-level standards. Elizebeth believes in teaching the basics of reading, writing, and math while making sure the next generation understands the basic elements in order to build upon them. She believes if you show the student the basic knowledge of how things work they will flourish with that knowledge and/or even go beyond the basic knowledge to a higher level of thinking.
Elizebeth was nominated by her students and named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2003, 2004, and 2005. She represented her elementary school as Teacher of the Year in 2009-2010. She has been a grade-level team lead and district grade-level coach. She served as a staff trainer for many different professional development directives. She also served as an elementary principal coaching teachers to be the best educators they can be.
