TEACHING EXPERIENCE

At the present I am the head coach of the RoboJackets FIRST Robotics Teams - FRC 3538 and FTC 6255 - and coordinator for our VEX IQ teams. I manage the long term health and sustainability of the programs, as well as day to day operations. Our teams focus heavily on training and skill development, as well as on the relationship between students and mentors. I'm very fortunate to have a strong team of engineering mentors that can provide one on one in depth instruction beyond basic training. I'm very proud of the success that both teams have experienced on the field, and the role that our training program plays in that success. In total I have 17 years experience in competitive youth robotics in a variety of roles, including mentor, head coach, field coach, lead strategist, event volunteer, judge, referee, coach trainer, and event coordinator (among other roles).
