TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a secondary school teacher in Canada. I regularly teach Civics and Canadian History, but I am also qualified in Visual Arts, ESL, Special Education, Senior Social Science and Guidance/Career Education. I have been teaching for 5+ years and have experience teaching a range of diverse students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students need opportunities to reflect on and expand their learning. I believe the best lessons introduce students to a new concept and then allow students to reflect and expand on their learning of that concept individually and in group formats.
