I have over 18 years of experience teaching reading to at -risk and Title 1 students as well as English Language Learners.
I believe in differentiated rigor. I meet the students where they are and choose just right activities for their learning styles and levels. I challenge the advanced students and support the struggling ones. I use mnemonic devices, visual and auditory cues, and kinesthetic activities to help the students learn.
