TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an elementary school counselor working with students in grades 3 to 5. Before entering my elementary school journey, I was a middle school counselor for 5 years as well as a counselor in an alternative program. Throughout my years being a counselor, I have created and implemented SEL lessons for teachers to use in their day-to-day classrooms.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is driven solely on connection. I firmly believe that a natural segway between my own personality and the outlook of my role helps guide me toward my goal in helping students. Whether it's classroom lessons, small groups, or 1:1, my approach always starts at looking at the student(s) as a whole. What is their biggest challenge right now? How do they learn best? How will my delivery stick and provide a positive outcome?

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Aside from my passion in helping kids create their path to become the best version of themselves, I love design and creativity - which has led me here :)
