TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have eighteen years of public school teaching experience at a Michigan middle school in the subjects of English, Drama, Speech, and AVID (national college readiness program). I have also coached Forensics (speech and acting competition team) for seventeen years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Priority number one is to create a positive learning environment where my goal is to encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential. I use a variety of strategies to meet all learning styles. My lessons incorporate various activities to keep students engaged- whole class activities, to partner sharing, and collaborative groups.
