Socratic Seminars are fantastic for so many reasons. Students love talking and debating with one another, and they don’t even realize that they’re building their critical thinking skills and directing their own learning while doing so. Furthermore,

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a first year teacher; I lack experience, but I'm brimming with creativity and enthusiasm. I currently teach English, newspaper, yearbook, and video broadcasting at a small town high school. I graduated from Michigan State University (go green!) with a major in English and a minor in journalism, and I love both of my content areas equally.
