I have been teaching in education in Florida for over 29 years. My most recent teaching assignment was as a district staff developer. I facilitate professional learning for teachers in grades K-8. focusing on Reading and Writing Instruction. I have taught Elementary and Middle school within the Public school system, both in general education as well as inclusive classrooms. I have worked with students labeled as: Highly Gifted, High Achieving, Low Achieving, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Behaviorally Challenged. I also spent several years teaching Developmental/Remedial English and Writing at a local university. Several positions which I have held in the past or still hold: Curriculum Specialist, Reading Specialist, In-service Trainer, Peer Coach.
My teaching style is eclectic. I tailor it to benefit my students' learning styles.
