Pups and Pupils

I am a third grade general education teacher with about 10 years under my belt. I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my first Masters Degree in Inclusive Education and my second Masters Degree in Technology in the Classroom. Teaching is truly a passion of mine. I am constantly striving to make and use resources that will help my low-income students as much as possible.

I am a huge believer in small-group work. Using stations is one of my favorite ways to teach! I also use technology in just about every lesson throughout the day. This is truly a technological era, and it's great how much information is readily available to us!

My best teachable moment is definitely when students who are struggling finally have that moment when something "clicks". You can almost see the lightbulb go off in their heads when something you do in class makes them "get" something. These are the moments I strive to create in my classroom every year and every day.

I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2013. I graduated from Montclair State University (NJ) with a Masters Degree in Inclusive Education in May 2016. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Technology in the Classroom from Ramapo College in May 2018.

I am obsessed with my two pups (Darwin- a PomChi, and Lucy- a Chihuahua). Eating and cooking good food is something my husband and I enjoy doing together. I am a huge fan of crafting of any kind as well, from bulletin boards to blankets to signs.
