TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in Pittsburgh,PA, Charleston,SC, and Bentonville, AR in grades 1, 2 and 4. I teach in a departmentalized 4th grade setting team teaching math/science/social studies in the same room with my literacy partner. We teach real world problem solving with our Common Core standards and guide students to using 21st centruy skills.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teach to solve probelms in our student's world. Seeing how they can change the world has created a clasroom of lifelong learners. We teach with Project Based Learning and encourage the 4C's: Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Collaboration.
