Peter and Trish Price have taught for over 25 years in Australian schools, both government and private. Peter has also taught in the UK and at university at undergrad and post-graduate levels.

We are passionate about math and have a desire to create resources for teachers that help students really get math. We believe that all students should be able to understand numbers and be fluent in numeracy. Math should not be a mystery where numbers are thrown in a box and out pops an answer (sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong, it's a puzzle). Rather, numbers should make sense and should be understood before progressing on to the next level. We just love it when students say, "I thought math was hard but now it's easy."

Peter has a PhD in math education which has really helped him understand what children are thinking and how best to teach basic mathematical concepts. Our very first software product written in 1999 was an award winning product from PC World Australia. This "Decimals" program was a created as a result of Peter's PhD research.

Somewhere in the middle there, Trish took a 10 year hiatus from teaching to raise three children of ours, all of whom are now grown up and living in different countries. We have five gorgeous grandchildren who can't wait to learn about math.
