I have been teaching a couple of decades, all grades, all proficiency levels: Spanish, English, Catalan, and French.

A variety of methods, approaches, and styles. Teaching in a 100% TL environment, I try to give students voice and choice. When I teach levels 1, 2, and 3, my strategies are more CI and TPRS. When I teach higher levels, I find readings and listenings that engage students, and then go from there. Designing compelling units around culture that students find relevant and meaningful is always a goal. My lessons provide opportunities for students to learn about themselves and others through language and culture.
