By Primarily First I retired from teaching in 2016 after being in the classroom for 37 years. Most of my teaching career was either in kindergarten or first grade. I do miss being in the classroom so creating items for teachers to use with their students helps me to keep my heart in education.

BA in Elementary Education with a minor in mathematics. Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning with an ESL endorsement.
I started my career as a Title I Math Teacher. I did that for 3 years. The following years were spent teaching kindergarten, first or second grade. My store name, Primarily First, is because I spent the bulk of my career in first grade. I would say that teaching math is my passion. I purposefully plan and prepare math lessons that help students to build their understandings of how numbers work rather than learning math as a process.
