I am a 6th grade ELA teacher in Georgia. My calling as an educator was confirmed when I taught impoverished students in the mountains of Thailand back in 2009. I experienced cultural pedagogy and how it impacts all students in immeasurable ways. A few things I enjoy are competitive volleyball/tennis, reading, writing, creating engaging and meaningful materials for my classroom, and spending time with my family.
