Pomp and Panache

I was an English teacher for 8 years. I've taught everything from IB English 12 to 6th grade. While in the classroom, I was exposed to a variety of different learners, which allowed me to practice the craft of differentiation and hands-on learning. Now, I am a gifted resource teacher, which is an opportunity for me to reinvent myself as an educator.

I am a flexible learning educator. I like to use tiered groups to get students involved in the lesson. My goal is for all learning styles to be activated within one lesson, so each students is reached in some way. In my class, I act as a facilitator of learning, rather than a lecturer. I want my students to get their hands dirty and make discoveries that I may not have considered.
