Alisha Neumann has expert knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework, Child Care Licensing Regulations and Act, and the BC Child Care Quality Assessment Standard. Alisha’s experience brings a rich understanding of emergent curriculum, current theories of pedagogy and child development in social-emotional learning, project-based learning, and experience with pedagogical narration. Alisha attended training in Reggio Emilia in 2016 at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre. Seminars were offered in both English and Italian. Studies analyzed curriculum creation, and examined sourcing materials, specifically, for Reggio Emilia classrooms. Training also included tours of Reggio operated centres and gave access to the directresses and pedagionistas.
