By Pink Flamingo Learning I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for 8 years as well as wrote curriculum. I then homeschooled my children from second grade through high school graduation and worked with homeschool groups to design their curriculum.
My teaching style centers around hands-on learning using manipulatives, great literature, and fun to engage students. Learning through play is not only developmentally appropriate, but it keeps children on-task and enjoying the learning process.

My Master's degree is in Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
