TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the fourth grade and am SO thankful to be living that dream now! I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades and LOVE having an upper elementary classroom. The products I have listed in my store are products I created to use in my own classroom with my own students. I'm so grateful I get to share them with you and your students, too!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a laid-back, fun-loving teaching style. I think it is important that students want to come to school every day because they know I love each of them, but also love to both teach and learn. I believe that classrooms should be student-led in as many ways as possible. Students should have the power to have their voices heard and the opportunity to experience learning in more ways than one! My products reflect my desire to have student-led activities that incorporate hands-on and game-based approaches!

I graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Elementary Education with cum laude honors in May, 2015. I will graduate with my Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Alabama in December, 2020.

When I'm not teaching or creating products, I love to hang out with my amazing husband and three fur-babies; I am a dog-aholic!
