TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 8 years. I worked at LaPetite Academy while attending college. I taught a year in kindergarten, three years in first grade, and now in my fourth year of second grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a fun, outgoing teacher who cannot stand a super quiet classroom. I like when the students work together, tackle new concepts, and apply what they know to assist others. I use a mixture of small groups, whole group, SMART board lessons, document camera, and responders to get through my day. I try and give the students as many responsibilities as possible as well.
