TEACHING EXPERIENCE

14 year educator - with a passion for curriculum building and coaching student teaching and new teachers (new to the career as well as new to a grade or school). I am now a coach in my building and my passion continues on! I love being able to reach more children throughout the building by supporting our amazing teachers!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am always trying to find ways to motivate, engage and excite my learners (in the classroom and out)! From hands-on activities, integration of social studies and science, creative art, creative writing, partner work, projects (and more projects), field trips, the list and possibilities are endless. I want my students to get the most out of their education but more importantly, I want them to find a LOVE FOR LEARNING! To this day, I thrive on learning more; I am constantly signing up for courses, trainings, professional (and personal) development opportunities! As a mother of two, I've taken this enthusiasm and motivation to also encouraged my own children to love learning and exploring!
