Students remember lessons best when given the opportunity to learn through there own learning styles. My goal through my lessons is always to provide an experience that reaches every type of learner whether that be verbal, visual, auditory, or physical.
I have been a special education teacher for 6 years with award winning moments like being able to send my students to general education without any ties to self contained classrooms. And giving parents the tools they need to bring the classroom into there very own homes where learning should never stop. I have been a mentor teacher for incoming preschool teachers and I am a Registered Behavior Technician with background history in working in cognitive clinics and music therapy.
I am a proud graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas where I received my Bachelors in Child Psychology and my Masters in Special Education with a concentration in ABA and Autism.
